Holistic Ministry is the heart and soul of Indonesian Missionary Foundation. There are four (4) departments that implement the mission of supporting less fortunate children and transforming next generation of leaders.
Youth and Children Ministry main focus is to prepare Sunday School Teachers and Youth Camp Leaders with innovative media interactive program for today’s youth.
We believe that children learn best when they know that they are the loved, valued, seen and heard. The task of teachers and coaches of Henriene Kids’ (named after the founder’s wife) are to encourage children to be creative and fully self-expressed.
Henriene Garden is the place where children can come and play, study, learn and create. Nothing is Impossible for these young leaders!
Women’s Ministry encourages mothers and women of all age to be a woman of character who honor inner beauty and combine resourcefulness with wisdom and love.
The role of women is essential in any society so we work together with different organizations to give seminars on women reproductive system, healthy living, and industrious life from charitable giving, food bank and bazaar.
Diaconia Ministry comes from the word diakonia in Greek which means the call to serve the poor and oppressed. By God’s grace today we have served up to 37,000 foster kids of every religion and race from Batu to Malang Raya, East Java; East Kalimantan and South Sumatra.
Foster Kids Program aim to support less-fortunate children to be able to attend school and completed high school. As a result we create an after school activities designed by class and age group from Monday through Friday. Some of the activities include singing, playing music, writing letters to sponsors, learning computers, study English and Javanese language. On many special occasion children would create program such as drama, musical performance and other creative activities.
Working with different sponsors we provide monthly school tuitions, transport money, and nutritious meals (snacks and drinks). We also have Weekly Parents Support Meeting at our facility and monthly home visitation to each and every foster kid.
Many of our Foster Kids Program recipients have gone on to be successful and productive member of society including teachers, businessmen, engineer, Vice Mayor and member of the Parliament. Some of our current foster kids won numerous awards such as the best young writer of Batu and best illustrator.
Foster Kids Program are our best hope to generate future leaders!
Heart Project or Orphanage “Peduli Kasih” was established in 2001 as a result of the need to provide a place for children of conflict area around the country. Many of these children were separated from their families and had no caretakers.
Matthew 25:40 stated “The King will reply, truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.”
We honor that calling and through God’s grace we are able to provide safe haven and formal education in an environment where they can grow and thrive. Spiritual development and character building is our number one priority. Currently many of these children have completed their High School and some have gone to college and are able to support themselves.
We are confident that these children will be a blessing for their community and we continue to pray and seek support for these children to live their best.
